Moving from North Carolina to Georgia with Move and Care consists of three simple steps: preparation, the move itself, and post-move.
You should start by packing your belongings. You can do the packing yourself, or Move and Care's packers can do it: we can either do it all ourselves, or we can customize the service in a flexible way (for example, we can provide only packing materials, or we can pack individual rooms). We also offer storage if you need it.
Here are a few things to check off during this stage:
On the day of the move, our pomada will arrive on site. You sign the contract and we start the work: we do the packing (it may have to be done the day before the move if there are a lot of items (usually relevant for houses), disassemble the furniture, load everything into the truck and transport it to your place.
The client must be present during the process of the movers' work.
Once the move is complete, our movers can assist with unpacking if you request it. We’re here to make sure you’re settled.

Yes, our company does interstate moves. We have a valid USDOT number (3212621) registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation. You can verify this at FMSCA SAFER. This license allows us to legally perform long distance moves throughout the United States.
We also have individual state licenses wherever our offices are located: Massachusetts (MC Number: 1018431), North Carolina (NCUC Number: C-3067) and Texas (TXDMV: 009636518C).
Move and Care provides two types of insurance. Basic insurance (Released Value Protection) - this is free and is included by default in any of our services. Move and Care guarantees liability for no more than 60 cents per pound per item. And Full Value Protection - this insurance means that any damage is fully covered, but there is an additional charge.
The estimate received for your move after our manager has called you and resolved all possible issues and questions: is final. With Move and Care long distance moving prices are set on a flat rate. The price will not change after the move is completed! All costs will be specified in your quote, no surprises and no hidden costs.
The movers will not transport perishable products, nor will they transport any hazardous objects. We also do not transport plants or weapons, and our services do not include animal transportation.
