Before moving to San Diego, pack all of your belongings. You can pack everything yourself (see our self-packing guide) or you can use our Boston packing and unpacking service, which keeps your belongings better safe. This way, you can personalize everything and decide which items or rooms we can take care of.
We will also ask you to file a list of special items: those that will require special handling in the move, such as large furniture, pianos, antiques, and other delicate, valuable items.
When choosing our packing service, our mover will come either during the moving day or a couple of days before the actual day to finish up on the packing.

On the day of your move, our movers will arrive at your Boston location to wrap, disassemble, and load your belongings onto the truck. We recommend being present during this process.

We also have individual state licenses wherever our offices are located: Massachusetts (MC Number: 1018431), North Carolina (NCUC Number: C-3067) and Texas (TXDMV: 009636518C).
Move and Care provides two types of insurance. Basic insurance (Released Value Protection) - this is free and is included by default in any of our services. Move and Care guarantees liability for no more than 60 cents per pound per item. And Full Value Protection - this insurance means that any damage is fully covered, but there is an additional charge.
The estimate received for your move after our manager has called you and resolved all possible issues and questions: is final. With Move and Care long distance moving prices are set on a flat rate. The price will not change after the move is completed! All costs will be specified in your quote, no surprises and no hidden costs.
The movers will not transport perishable products, nor will they transport any hazardous objects. We also do not transport plants or weapons, and our services do not include animal transportation.
