Packing: Before you make the move to Miami, you will have to pack your stuff. You can pack everything yourself by referring to our self-packing guide, or we'll add protection to your items with our Charlotte packing and unpacking service. Your packaging can be tailored at will. Choose which items or rooms you want us to take care of.
We will also ask that you provide us with a list of special-care items; this would include anything that is oversized, like furniture, pianos, and antiques, or particularly valuable in some other way.
With our packing service, we can either come on the day of a move or some days prior to the actual day to carry out the duties.

On the moving day, our crew will arrive at your location in Charlotte to wrap, disassemble, and load your stuff into the truck. We recommend that you be present to oversee everything.
Further, the goods will be forwarded to Miami. On arrival, we will unload the same and reassemble your furniture in your new space.
If your plan includes storage, we take care of transportation to and from the storage facility.

Once at Miami, we can help settle you in by organizing your stuff. If unpacking has been a part of your package deal, then our team will assist in laying everything in its appropriate place at your new location.

Yes, our company does interstate moves. We have a valid USDOT number (3212621) registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation. You can verify this at FMSCA SAFER. This license allows us to legally perform long distance moves throughout the United States.
We also have individual state licenses wherever our offices are located: Massachusetts (MC Number: 1018431), North Carolina (NCUC Number: C-3067) and Texas (TXDMV: 009636518C).
Move and Care provides two types of insurance. Basic insurance (Released Value Protection) - this is free and is included by default in any of our services. Move and Care guarantees liability for no more than 60 cents per pound per item. And Full Value Protection - this insurance means that any damage is fully covered, but there is an additional charge.
The estimate received for your move after our manager has called you and resolved all possible issues and questions: is final. With Move and Care long distance moving prices are set on a flat rate. The price will not change after the move is completed! All costs will be specified in your quote, no surprises and no hidden costs.
The movers will not transport perishable products, nor will they transport any hazardous objects. We also do not transport plants or weapons, and our services do not include animal transportation.
