If you have special items like large furniture, pianos, or antiques, let us know so we can take extra precautions. We need to be aware of them, because dealing with them involves a lot of work for the movers and possible additional charges. Moves from historic areas like King William or Monte Vista may require special handling due to older home layouts, tight doorways, or staircases.
If you choose our packing service, our team can pack on moving day or a few days before.
On moving day, our team will arrive in San Antonio, wrap, dismantle, and load your goods in the truck. We recommend being present to oversee the process.

We also have individual state licenses wherever our offices are located: Massachusetts (MC Number: 1018431), North Carolina (NCUC Number: C-3067) and Texas (TXDMV: 009636518C).
Move and Care provides two types of insurance. Basic insurance (Released Value Protection) - this is free and is included by default in any of our services. Move and Care guarantees liability for no more than 60 cents per pound per item. And Full Value Protection - this insurance means that any damage is fully covered, but there is an additional charge.
The estimate received for your move after our manager has called you and resolved all possible issues and questions: is final. With Move and Care long distance moving prices are set on a flat rate. The price will not change after the move is completed! All costs will be specified in your quote, no surprises and no hidden costs.
The movers will not transport perishable products, nor will they transport any hazardous objects. We also do not transport plants or weapons, and our services do not include animal transportation.
