- Timing: Packing can happen on moving day or earlier, depending on the volume. If we do it on moving day, the whole process will take longer.
- Parking: Some Norwood streets or complexes can have truck restrictions. Check in advance or request a parking permit on the Norwood city website. If parking isn’t available, we’ll find a spot nearby. But keep in mind that extra distance may add time and cost.

Moving Day
Our crew arrives on time, finds parking, and starts loading in your presence. If you can’t be at place on moving day, find a person you trust — at least one adult should be there.
Furniture is wrapped, disassembled/reassembled if needed, and safely packed with specialty padding and blankets.
We do not transport people, pets, dangerous materials or perishable products.
If you need extra stops during the way, we’ll plan a multi-stop route.
You’ll get GPS tracking to see where your belongings are in real time.
If you reserve long- or short-term storage, we'll take your belongings to the 24/7 monitored space — neither weather nor hooligans can reach them.
After the Move
We unload, place boxes in the right rooms, and reassemble furniture.
If you booked unpacking, we’ll empty cartons too and clean all the garbage after.
Before leaving, we’ll do a final walkthrough with you.

Parking & Access: In towns like Norwood, parking is usually manageable. But closer to Boston or busy streets, you may need a parking permit or reservation. If a permit isn’t secured, our team will find the nearest legal spot. This may mean carrying items further, which increases time and cost. Ask friends or family to hold a spot with personal cars before the truck arrives — the simplest way to avoid delays.
F.A.Q. about moving in Norwood, MA
Yes, our moving company is fully licensed for local moves within the state. While interstate movers are regulated by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT), local moving companies are regulated by the state. We also have individual state licenses wherever our offices are located: Massachusetts (MC Number: 1018431), North Carolina (NCUC Number: C-3067) and Texas (TXDMV: 009636518C).
Local moves with Move and Care are generated at an hourly rate. When we
determine your moving plan, we also determine the approximate labor time and the
number of movers needed. The number of movers determines the hourly
rate. If your move is large, more movers means faster work and lower cost.
Your quota will give you an approximate cost of the job, the actual cost will be
determined by the actual time spent, which may take a little less or a little more time
(we take into account 15 minute increments).
